Services
In a continuing effort to better serve our customer
base, Pliant Plastics has added Fused Deposition Modeling rapid prototyping to
our capabilities list.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a rapid
prototyping process that produces 3D solid objects out of ABS directly from a
CAD model.

Prototype part - fully functional
|
This process provides a quick and inexpensive way
to generate prototype samples.
 |
FDM prototype
samples give you the opportunity to: |
 |
Prototype
parts have 70% of the properties of an injection molded ABS part. |
 |
Samples
can be made in six colors (natural, red, black, green, blue, and yellow). |
 |
10"
x 10" x 10" build area |
 |
Models
can be produced to an accuracy of +/- .005". |
 |
Prototypes can
typically be delivered in two days or less. |
